Voices on the Wind Comical Voices
Hope Springs Eternal by Kathryn Jacobs The trees are going nubbly Yep, again. You'd think they'd know by now it doesn't work; that after so much effort squeezing leaves out of those tender, many-punctured stems they'd know what happens: either they'll seized by winter-crazy squirrels and munched on, or by caterpillar larva (munched on). And the lucky ones just wrinkle and fall off: so no, I wouldn't bother. But just look at all those eager leafers, greening. You you can't possibly convince them that this spring will be like every other which is grand.
